J. Cody Faulkner is an audiovisual technician based in Middle Tennessee. He is an alumnus of Middle Tennessee State University. There, he studied film and video production with a primary focus on film production and screenwriting. He has worked on several projects throughout his career in single-camera and multi-camera environments. Some examples of projects he has worked on would be short films (narrative and documentary), public service announcements, live news and other television productions, corporate conferences and conventions, live music, and sports. Filmmaking and writing are two of his greatest passions, and he is always more than happy to be a part of the creative process.
Cody has been involved in the field of audiovisual technology as far back as the early 2000’s when he became very active in his high school’s audiovisual technology classes. It was then that he realized his passion. However, it wasn’t until after college that he could finally begin his career as an audiovisual technician. In the Summer of 2016, he began working for Convention Production Rigging, a Nashville-based audiovisual staffing company. From there, he made his way to being employed with his current employer, ITA Audio Visual Solutions.
He has several projects that he works on in his free time under the names of GlobosVR and Forgotten Films. GlobosVR is an effort to produce visually stunning 360-degree experiences for viewers to enjoy. Forgotten Films is an anthology project dedicated to the creation and procurement of analog films and raw experiences.
